Which is frustrating because I don’t want to win easily. The numbers are not that bad responsive and if you accidentally put it a number as an answer instead of a note - and if that number happens to be correct, it won’t let you delete it. It loads fairly slowly, too, and all that unnecessary effects get in the way of the game. There’s also no way to see which ones are the answers and which ones are the pre-populated ones. There's no setting to remove it and it's incredibly distracting and time-wasting. My biggest pet peeve is how everytime you enter a number, it does this highlight thing where it shows you all the other locations of the number you just entered. It was attractive at first - cute enough that I paid and upgraded to have the numerous ads removed - but it wasn't as good as I thought. But the way they changed the game and added the ads is so intrusive and time consuming that the app is no longer fun.
My son is a game designer, so I appreciate that everyone deserves to earn money for their work. If the ad were less often or were a mix of longer ads and short, single photo/page ads, I could probably tolerate it. It’s become so frustrating that I’ve decided to delete the app and instead play my second favorite app by a different make of sudoko or return to playing puzzle pages. If I have to interrupt my game to briefly move to another app, such as to answer a text, when I return to the game (and I’m not talking about reopening the app, but just being away from it for even a few second) I get another long ad. They don’t just come at the end of a game or the beginning of a new game, they come every time I open the app. Now the ads are long and hard to get rid of. Before this hey had a kind of placeholder for the ads, but that could be quickly x’ed. It was a good way for me to take a quick break and decompress. I use to play this app multiple times a day.
